The Vision Edge from Sentinel Vision is a compact industrial system that brings together, in a single unit, the entire ecosystem required for a machine vision solution on the factory floor. From the industrial PC running the Vision Core software, to the touchscreen monitor and the various communication interfaces with cameras and other peripherals, it is a complete, robust and standardized solution, widely used across SENTINEL projects.
This equipment was designed to centralize, in a single system, all the elements required for machine vision solutions to be easily operated in industrial environments. Its structure can be adapted to different physical configurations, including installation directly on the production line, adjusting to the available space and real operating conditions. In addition to the base configuration, the system allows connection of up to 8 2D and 3D cameras, supports industrial communication protocols, and can include GPU when required, ensuring the capability to handle more demanding processing and artificial intelligence applications.
It also provides digital inputs and outputs for sensors and actuators, enabling integration with different equipment on the production line, as well as full access to Vision Core functionalities for configuration, result visualization, recipe management and process analysis.
